Elizabeth Lee is the Canberra Liberals Member for Kurrajong in the ACT Legislative Assembly.  She was first elected to the ACT Legislative Assembly in 2016 and re-elected in 2020 and 2024.

Elizabeth is the first Australian of Korean descent to be elected to an Australian Parliament and the first Asian-Australian leader of a major political party in Australia having been elected leader of the Canberra Liberals in 2020.

Elizabeth was Leader of the Opposition from 2020 to 2024, and previously held several shadow portfolios including Treasury, Education, Climate Action, Economic Development, Tourism and Major Projects.

Prior to her election to the ACT Legislative Assembly, Elizabeth was a lawyer in government and private practice and a law lecturer at The Australian National University and the University of Canberra.

Whilst practising as a lawyer, Elizabeth served as Chair of the ACT and Australian Young Lawyers Committees and Vice President of the ACT Law Society.

Elizabeth served as Vice Chair - Oceania for the Overseas Korean Politicians Forum and is the Inaugural Chair of the Advisory Council for the ANU Korea Institute.

Elizabeth was born in South Korea, and in 1986 at the age of seven, her family migrated to Australia.

Elizabeth lives in South Canberra with her partner, Nathan, and her two daughters, Mia and Ava.
