Anthy Nguyen

Project Officer

Anthy Nguyen recently joined the Australia-Korea Business Council in March 2023.

Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, Anthy pursued her undergraduate degree at Monash University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Global) degree. During her time at Monash, she majored in Japanese and International Studies, and went on to complete her Masters degree in Diplomatic Studies from the Australian National University.

Anthy was awarded the prestigious Hamer scholarship by the Victorian government, which enabled her to study Korean at Korea University. The scholarship allowed her to immerse herself in the language and culture, and gain valuable insights into Korean business practices and etiquette.

Following her time in Korea, Anthy gained valuable industry experience by working in the retail space as a buyer at Chemist Warehouse under the skincare category. During her time there, she gained a wealth of knowledge in product development, brand management, and supply chain management, which has proved invaluable in her current role.

At AKBC, Anthy is responsible for managing relationships with our members and key stakeholders. Her deep knowledge of Asian cultures and languages has proved invaluable in building and maintaining strong partnerships. She is passionate about creating meaningful connections and driving positive outcomes.
