Release of the 40th AKBC-KABC Joint Meeting Video

With great pleasure, the AKBC would like to share the official video of the 40th Australia-Korea Business Council and Korea-Australia Business Council Joint Meeting.

Bringing together senior business and government leaders and young professionals, the Joint Meeting “reinforces our commitment to strengthening our relationship,” as remarked by the Hon. Simon Crean, Chairman of the AKBC. Throughout the event, delegates explored how Australia and Korea can collaborate further to seize emerging opportunities in traditional industries, the future of energy and new industry growth engines.

Key insights from the Joint Meeting are:

– Australia’s new energy systems and storage technologies, such as hydrogen and electric batteries, will support Korea’s transition to a low emissions economy;

– Technological advancements will increase collaboration opportunities including in biotech and smart factories; and

– The adaptability of traditional industries, such as agribusiness and fintech, provides a strong foundation to the trade relationship as technological disruption continues to impact the world.
