Victor Yang

Project Manager

Victor joined the Australia-Korea Business Council as a Project Manager in 2022. His background is primarily in law, having been admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 2014 and practicing for a number of years in criminal defence.

He is a proud Korean-Australian with an earnest passion for seeing the relationship between the two countries and cultures burgeon. Though his parents immigrated to Australia in 1975, Victor has always maintained a close interest in his cultural heritage and community. Victor has previously lived and taught English in rural Korea as a part of the Korean government’s TaLK (Teach and Learn in Korea) program.

Victor holds a bachelor’s degree in business and Juris Doctor from UTS, and an Honours in history from the University of Sydney. He also has experience as a sessional academic at both the University of Sydney and the University of Western Sydney.
