Simone Liew

Joining the Australia-Korea Business Council in 2022, Simone is a recent Korean Studies graduate from Yonsei University’s Graduate School of International Studies. There, Simone acted as Editor in Chief for NOVAsia magazine, and as an Editor to the Yonsei Journal of International Studies. Prior to moving to Seoul, Simone completed her Bachelor of Arts (International Studies) and a Diploma of Languages at RMIT University. 

Simone has continued to be active in the Australia-Korea relationship while abroad, entering the final round of the Korea-Australia Exchange Promotion Idea Contest hosted by the Korea-Australia Foundation and the Australian Embassy in Seoul in 2019.

In 2021, Simone published an academic research paper on utilising digital technology in K-pop for community and human connection during the COVID-19 pandemic.
