South Korean Presidential Election Event

The Australia-Korea Business Council invites you to join us on Wednesday the 26th of April for a panel discussion on the upcoming Korean Presidential Election.

Following the decision of the Constitutional Court to uphold the Parliament’s impeachment of Park Geun-hye, the Korean Presidential election will be held on the 9th of May. The two leading candidates for the May 9 vote are both to the left of the former conservative President Park Geun-hye. Join us to discuss and explore who the Presidential candidates are, what they stand for, their stance on North Korea, the election process and what this means for Australia-Korea relations going forward.
