AKBC Briefing With Minister Tehan

Members of the Australia-Korea Business Council are invited to attend this virtual briefing with The Hon Dan Tehan MP, Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment on Monday 2 August 2021.

Minister Tehan has recently returned to Australia following travel to Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, Korea and the United States. While in Korea from 18-19 July, Minister Tehan met with the Minister for Trade, YOO Myung-hee, Samsung, SK Group, POSCO and the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Korea. The Minister also participated in an agriculture investment roundtable and witnessed a signing ceremony between Australian Strategic Minerals and a consortium of Korean investors.

This meeting will be an opportunity for AKBC members to hear directly from the the Minister to discuss his recent travel. Minister Tehan is also interested in hearing from business about key priorities in the Australia-Korea relationship. The AKBC will also provide an update on the critical minerals and energy sub-committees and 42nd AKBC-KABC Joint Meeting.
