Recap of a briefing on Korea by H.E. Mr James Choi, Australian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea

The Australia-Korea Business Council was honoured to host a briefing on Korea by H.E. Mr James Choi, Australian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea. The event was moderated by AKBC Chairman the Hon. Simon Crean and held in partnership with the Australia Korea Young Professionals Association – AKYPA. This member-only briefing is an example of AKBC’s commitment to provide our members with up-to-date information and expert knowledge on the Australia-Korea relationship.

AKBC members had the exclusive opportunity to hear Mr Choi’s insights on why Korea was successful at flattening the COVID-19 curve and how Korea’s top 10 companies are adapting to Korea’s acceleration towards a technology driven society. The Ambassador also outlined key industries for collaboration between Australia and Korea, and how Australian businesses can establish long-lasting and mutually beneficial relationships with Korean companies.

AKBC’s next online event, Soft Power: Using Sports Diplomacy to score business outcomes, will be held this Friday 19th June from 11:00am – 12:00pm AEST.
