Chairman of the AKBC the Hon. Simon Crean and Executive Director Liz Griffin meet with the new Korean Ambassador to Australia, H.E. Mr Jeong-sik Kang

 

On July 6, Chairman of the AKBC the Hon. Simon Crean and Executive Director Liz Griffin met with the new Korean Ambassador to Australia, H.E. Mr Jeong-sik Kang, together with the recently appointed Mr Kookhyun Im, Counsellor for Trade, Industry, Energy/Resources, and Mr Joon Heo, Adviser for Energy and Infrastructure. Chairman Crean welcomed the new Ambassador to Australia and congratulated Ambassador Kang on his appointment. Ambassador Kang expressed his keen desire to work closely with the AKBC to enhance the Australia-Korea economic relationship and stated that next year marks an important year for the Australia-Korea relationship as it represents the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Australia and Korea.
