Australian company Inmark Asset Management acquires the Grand Hyatt Seoul for US$485 million

Australian company Inmark Asset Management has acquired one of the most luxurious hotels in Seoul, the Grand Hyatt Seoul, in partnership with Hong-Kong based investment firm PAG. Worth US$485 million, the hotel sprawls across 73,000 square metres in Hannam-dong and consists of 615 guest rooms,12 restaurants and bars,19 meeting spaces and three Grand Ballrooms.

Inmark Asset Management was formed by INMARK Group and Millinium Capital Managers – two Australian based companies involved in real estate investment and funds management respectively. Inmark partners with Korean institutional investors to provide guidance for long-term investments in real estate and infrastructure. Inmark’s acquisition of the Grand Hyatt Seoul is a prime example of Australian companies recognising the value of investing in assets in Korea.
