[AKBC Event] Briefing with Minister Birmingham

The Australia-Korea Business Council (AKBC) and the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AustCham) are pleased to invite our members to join our exclusive Australia-Korea Industry Roundtable with the Minister for Trade, Tourism and Investment, Senator the Hon. Simon Birmingham.

The event will be co-chaired by the AKBC Chairman, the Hon. Simon Crean, and the AustCham Korea Chairman, Chris Raciti, with the Minister providing an update on the Australia-Korea trade and investment relationship. Minister Birmingham will share his insights on the impact of COVID-19 on Australia’s trade with North Asia and specifically on the Australia-Korea economic relationship. The Minister will also outline the new and emerging opportunities for Australian businesses that may arise from changing dynamics in the Indo-Pacific region and plans for an Australia-Korea travel corridor.

The roundtable will be hosted through Webex and registrations are essential.

Please note that this session is only available to AKBC members. To register or confirm if your organisation is a member, please contact Liz Griffin. RSVP by Wednesday, September 9, 2020 to lgriffin@akbc.com.au.
